I’m glad that this place opened up. My family and I get the ramen bowl, which is amazing! A lot of good options such as the burger and sushi rolls. Highly recommend this place as we go there when visiting Kent on the weekends.

The place just opened up a couple weeks ago and I was looking forward to trying it. I happened to walk by the day they opened and grabbed a menu to take home. When I arrived to eat, I discovered about 1/4 to 1/3 of the original menu had been removed. Understandable as the new restaurant learns what works and what doesn’t and streamline operations. This evening the restaurant was out of printed menus, so I took photos of the one taped to the counter so I could sit at a table to decide. I ordered guacamole with plantain chips to snack on. The portion of guacamole was generous and tasty. There were only about 8 plantain chips served with it, sticking out of the guacamole, so I had to ask for more chips and even then there was guac left over. After the guacamole, between the adults and children in our party, we ordered a poke bowl, a couple of sushi rolls and a poke bowl split between two kids. The staff was very accommodating in separating the kids poke bowl into two bowls so as to avoid the kids having to eat out of the same bowl (that would have not gone over well) and only including the very specific kid-approved toppings that we requested on the rice. The food took quite a while to arrive, maybe 25-30 minutes, which was surprising because the restaurant was not that busy. A long wait with hungry kids = Sushi was fresh and well prepared. Poke bowl was decent. The Italian rainbow cookies we got for dessert were delicious. I think I’d go back again in a few weeks when they’ve refined their operations more.

I’m really shocked at how delicious this place was, We got the burger and chicken sandwich, and both were some of the best ones we’ve ever had. The burger was absolutely amazing and the chicken sandwich was so good I keep thinking about it. The chicken wasn’t dry at all and the burger was cooked perfectly. Fries were delicious and you could tell everything was really fresh, also loved how the bun was toasted with butter.

Just had their Kent Burger and it was fantastic. It came with a generous portion of fries, which were impressive. They were served piping hot and crunchy and you could taste the oil they used was FRESH & CLEAN. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve tasted dirty oil on my fries…made me dislike them, generally. Kent Kitchen was hands down the best in the area. Will def be back. Staff and cleanliness of the eatery inside and out is impeccable. Nice to see quality food!

Love The Kent Kitchen! The Poke Bowl with Tuna and all the goodies is delicious and so fresh! The Buddha Bowl was also great and if you want some sweets after lunch or dinner, I really enjoyed the Lemon cake as well as the Green Matcha Crepe cake with my double espresso. The sushi area is super clean and the staff and chefs are so warm and inviting. Five Stars!!
